Our Team Are Proudly Supporting the Samaritans Brew Monday – It’s Good To Talk!

Brew Monday kicks off on Monday 18th January, the third Monday of the month which is usually known as ‘Blue Monday’.  We will be helping to flip ‘Blue Monday on it’s head and turning it into something positive by taking part in a Team Cuppa/Coffee morning.  We are encouraging everyone to reach out and catch up over a virtual cuppa because now more than ever, it’s so important to stay connected.

Why not reach out to a mate, work colleague or family member for a cuppa and a chat.  If you aren’t available on Monday 18th, it doesn’t have to be then or over a cup of tea. Just making the time to really listen to another person could help them work through a difficult time or an issue which has been playing on their mind.  The majority of us have experienced some form of mental health issues during our lives.  Whatever mental health issue(s) you may have faced or are facing it is important to chat to others and get support if you need it.

How can I get help if I am struggling?

There are a whole host of organisations that offer help for people who are struggling with their mental health.  Here are just a few:

PTSD999  – UK based organisation that supports all members of the emergency services, both serving and retired, voluntary, family and friends. PTSD999 is completely independent and funded by private donations.
